Thanks. I will try this out. But what I would also be interested in whether someone has actually measured the results of an article submission campaign.

Take one article spin/change it and submit it to various directories. Then check for the results after a while.

 

I don't have any numerical results to hand, but I've noticed in Google analytics, and another peice of software, that people finding my site from a keyword search in the search engines has increased exponentially.

I'm noticing a definite non-linear trend, which is good.

 

hyperlink your keywords so that your rankings will increase for these words. Submit your articles to social document sharing sites such as scribd.com and docstoc.com.

 

I wonder how one can establish the numerical results. But you say there is definetely a correlation. between SEO and visits via search engines.

I never noticed that it grew exponentially over a longer period. But it's definetely a growing trend over time, while it tends to stabilise for a while within certain limits and with seasonal changes.

Well. Before submitting your articles, always follow the guidelines carefully. unlike directory submission, in this you can give up to three deep links. It is the advantage. Her are the top most article sites. Ezine Articles, Go Articles, Article Dashboard, Article city, Idea Marketers, Articles Base, isnare and Article Alley.

 

I agree the guidelines are important. I've seen that they actually will reward people making good article contributions. So putting in some wit and effort will help.

As for links, they will be DOFOLLOW with the directories you mentioned?

You should submit your new article on eZine article site and make sure your article is unique than others.
You can submit your article on the top of google article directory.

use different anchor in author bio and your site using Key Word Relevant Anchor Text

Make sure for each article that you submit to each article directory is rewritten rather than getting them spun with article spinner. Your articles will be rubbish if you do so. Rewriting of articles will be the best option compared to spinning.

Spinning article are totally waste because after spun they are not humus readable so if you use spun article then make sure check its and do correct sentence and grammar.
