Ways to improve keyword ranking?

Apart from bookmarking, directory submission, forum posting, blog posting in which ways we can improve our keyword ranking.

By coming up with creative new ideas to gain backlinks from quality sites. Easily said, but very difficult to do. Keep working on content and links - sooner or later you will notice difference.

You can do 3 way link exchange with websites related to your niche. I have found this very effective, but be sure that you take links from good quality domains.

Another popular way to build links is by setting up some Web 2.0 properties such as Squidoo, Hubpages, Livejournnal, Weebly etc.

One of the most effective way to gain backlinks is Article Submission. Write good quality article related to your site theme and submit them to Article directories such as Ezinearticles, Goarticles, Article Dashboard, Article Base, iSnare etc.

 

Having quality content is what works great. Other options include (but not limited to) writing guest posts, sponsoring themes, running contests or giving something useful to community

You should also analyze backlinks of your competitiors.

 

Quality content will always help to your site and you should try to get some natural links and links in content it is good compare to other links...

 

I think the bookmark has helped to align my google ranking in ครับ very much, especially with pligg and submit a Quality comment.

 

Directory submissions,article submissions and blog postings will help you a lot...

i dont know about keyowrds, but my company website was not even showing on google rankings well i got bored after like 7 pages, but i went onto google and typed in how to get high in google rankings or a phrase along them lines and it came up with a google link and all you done was type in your website and then next time the google crawlers go out they will hit your website, mines now the 4th one that come up in google apart from the paid links,

i dont know if this will help, its not to do with keywords but i guess its along the same sort of lines :d

 

It does help to make google aware that you're out there. They are struggling to index all of the internet so why should they crawl your site unless you ask them to.

 

Try to index your pages very frequently by updating unique content on the website and pinging it to the search engines thru submissions and tagging.
This will definitely increase your search engine rankings and traffic eventually.

well first of fell you need keyword selection which you want top ranking after that start work LE, SMO, article, forums posting and comment posting..

 

You can create link wheel, generate link from online journals, article submission is also most beneficial for getting your targeted keywords in ranking

 

making links for the particular keywords for which u want to improve ranking and also do articles submission work with those keywords.
