    I'm not sure you know the difference.

    What an amateur.

    Perhaps one day, the teenage "drhowarddrfine" will have enough experience to quickly and easily put together web pages that are cross-browser compatible.

    Until then, he will be handicapped by his meager skills and overcharge his clients.

    I'm curious, since you wrote that IE "makes web development more expensive for my customers", do you tell your customers up front that you need to charge them extra for cross-browser compatibility???

    @corwin,
    You assume I make simple sites like the ones in your sig. Can I assume they are yours? Anyone who thinks developing web sites does not require extra time and effort to make work in IE has never made a web site. Any developer who also doesn't pass that cost on to their customer is also a bad businessman.

    IE 8 has improved a lot, I agree, but it's behind FF still, in my humble opinion.

    The only thing is firefox is slow [ In processing ]. It takes loong time to start. And long time to give suggestion to typed text in the address bar.

    I make websites that are PROFITABLE. They are varying complexity. My sig varies depending on who needs juice. My biggest and most complex websites do not need juice because they've been online since 1996.

    And, unlike you, I can easily make any website cross-browser compatible.:D

    Why don't you tell me exactly what you are doing that is too advanced for you to work in IE and I'll see if I can help you? :)

    I completely agree. Although I use IE, FF, & Chrome at the same time, Firefox needs to be occasionally restarted because Process Explorer shows me that Firefox is like a little goldfish - it continues to eat until it dies.

    You are absolutely right in your thought. IE is still IE as it was earlier. IE 8 is just a cosmetic version of previous versions. For me IE is irritating Experience.

    I'm partial to Firefox because of the wide range of plugins, and the browsers flexibility

    Of course I have the same view that you have mentioned in your signature along with the descriptions in your post as a web developer.
