    Sure does take a long time...And Check validity is 60 days... not for 6 months like the Indian Check...

    Mine once took like 57 days and I was pissed shit since it was going to Expire and it was like $40 k
    Went to the bank everyday even though they didn't have a clue.. And I was not sure if Escrow would reissue

    I have done tons of foreign checks with ICICI and it takes 23 working days which sometimes extends upto 30 working days.. if you feel it is late call up the customer care and tell them the check number and details and to check.. sometimes ICICI guys are quite lazy and I remember once they sent the check to the US bank only after I called them up after 30 days when they remembered. :D Luckily the check was still valid and got credited in my account.

    I also used HDFC if I am not incorrect and it takes nearly the same time there too. Just call up the customer service and they will give details. Frankly speaking half of the customer care guys at ICICI also did have not have any idea to check foreign checks and gave it to their manager who checked it for me. Also check with your local bank where you deposited.

    I deposited a USD cheque on 14th December and received it exactly after 21 working days ie on 7th Jan. :) If you still haven't received it, get in touch with the bank ASAP.

    And it was a CJ check too. :) Btw the charge is Rs 250 + tax + Rs 25 ~ Rs 300 :)
