I know I have posted in here before, I just wanted to state that my latest blog has finally hit a 5-figure Alexa (92,000 in change)! This is the best Alexa rank I've ever had on any site I've run, and it keeps getting better each and every day.
I have seen many people devoting their time even getting Alexa higher. Is there any importance or has anyone found any advantage in their search engine ranking just because they have higher Alexa Ranking? I mean i have seen many illegal ways to increase your Alexa rank. So what you guys think about it..
Its not your rank but its your website or blog rank. Visit alexa.com and know about your site ranking. It is actually traffic rank and nothing to do with backlinks and other SEO stuff.
It was in the 520,000's but since then it suddenly stopped saying i recieved traffic and has gorn back alot... Donno why, we're getting more traffic than ever.
my adult forum based site's rank is 79,332, and just over 30,000 in the U.S, not to shabby for being just over a year old!!!
Excellent work to those who have achieved their goals. Right now the link in my directory is at Alexa rank: 2,745,970, U.S rank: 580,102 and Australia rank: 110,847. Still new as of December 13th of '09 but never been advertised until two weeks ago and came from 12,000,000 to where I am now. Hoping to see it creep down to the lower hundred thousands in the next week.
Alexa is just a ranking factor, don't take it too seriously. Take your GA stats seriously and focus on ROI because this is what matters the most on why we build websites in the first place.
