Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

An Official Word From Paypal would have stopped all these chats

 

well my Paypal account was in minus, and this time when i got fund from a bidding account that was reverse last time, paypal accept paypal and not reverse that, very funny, i think now when my account will reach in +, they will again make reverse, as my friends paypal are still being reversed.

I did the same thing last morning, made a button for each of my clients and then withdrew the amount last night via multiple transactions on xoom, finally detached my cc from paypal. Getting the money to paypal is not the end of the problem though as withdrawals to banks are also blocked. So you would be forced to use a separate method for transfer to your bank. Best is to take care of immediate requirements via paypal + xoom (or some other form of online xfer which accepts pp) and then switch everything else to wire transfers till such time as paypal stabilizes in India.

At least he will miss some important emails amidst of our emails. Either he has to block or do some extra bit of work to filter!

Either way, It keeps him alert and he can't sit/ignore ideally at some point!

 

I have had personal and premier paypal accounts. I have got 2 transaction reversed from my personal account and 1 transaction got reversed form my premier account. The transaction to premier account has been done as services and paypal charged some fees to received it. Saturday morning i have made withdrawals from these 2 account to one of my US Bank accounts and after 10 minutes all transactions are reversed but luckily one transaction is completed. I am waiting for that transaction to come into my bank account. But i have negative balance in my paypal account now. Cant understand paypal's justifications on this issue. All due to business monopoly in the payment processing arena. If an alternative to paypal comes after this unjustifiable action of paypal, it would be better for the Indian freelancers, vendors and IT people.

is not correct...That issue was entirely different..It was due to Indian Bank strike and hence NEFT transfers getting delayed...There were no reversals...No Negative Balances...Nothing of the sort that happened this time..

 

Now I could recover partial amount of payments via Alertpay , MoneyBookers and Liberty Reserve. Some of customer liked to work with those payment methods. Actually we can't depend on a payment method.

oh my god i visited this thread in afternoon and i was approximately on 84th page and now it 104th page so it seems majority of online dealers are indian and not only me a huge buch of peoples have suffered here..
i hope it gets resolved soon and we all get our money back...

and i think paypal cannot collapse in such a manner it has a huge income from indians and paypal is the only reliable option here every where we see and in many sites we see that paypal is the only option so such a huge source cant be collapsed is such a manner....
and one more thing feb-march is end of business year so is it every time paypal suffers..and we too..there may be a problem with tie ups of paypal with rbi ...
lets get it to god to help us...
mine 3 transcation are still reversed and i have an amount to be withdrawn too...

Papal is using their power to beat Indians.. it is better to move on to MB or Alertpay.etc. If they have same place in the e currency they will serve to their customers more than this..

 

I hear yaa Amit..... sometimes it's more important to listen than shout yourselves hoarse. First lets find out what the issue actually is before releasing the cat into the pigeons (read putting the media at work). For all we know media would end up bringing it to the notice of the tax hungry government, who in turn might start levying some new taxes, even if it has not been caused because of RBI so far.... so best to wait for definite information on this issue before calling media into this mess

I too have a premier account and payment made as services transfer status displays completed..But paypal displays Negative Balance...No funds at bank too....

Most of the users are having similar issue...

 

god know where the hell is our money flying i was going to withdraw today but as i read a lot stuff here i desided to postpornd withdrawls,,, but my payments were reverted to my clients...
a lot disaster happened...!!!

 

They don't need us,that's why they are doing this thing!!!!!!!

Hey..we discussed about AlertPay today morning...AlertPay does not support India...

alertpay does support India,
But they don't have any method to get our money by bank transfers.

Just because of pressure from users from various forums like DP..Paypal were forced to come out with a reply in their official blog, by their official spokesman - Anuj Nayar

If we keep quiet..it will be delayed indefinitely...Paypal has nothing to loose...

Any news from Paypal..I called them today..I got the same reply as we got yesterday...They are not sure when the issue will be resolved...and they are not revealing the exact reason for the issue...
