According to SEO point of view and to attract search engines, CONTENT is the KING. When there is no content, it means you are not attracting search engines to your site.

And generally, content/copywriting plays as a translator of your website because you can not represent everything by images, links or videos.

Copywriting is no doubt important for every website.

    Good luck.

You're obviously thinking of 'copyright', not copywriting.

Just place the copyright symobol, date and name on your site and you're done. Unlike applying for a patent there is no cost to claim copyright of your own work.

You don't need to do it from anywhere, just copy and paste this symbol: ©

Then stick it on your site with your name and the year, like this:

    © Alan Carr 2010

Place that on each page of your site and you're done.

You don't even need the symbol, you can just write the word copyright like this:

    Copyright Alan Carr 2010

That's all it takes, you've declared copyright and legally no-one can copy your work. Seeking damages from someone who does is a different matter, you need to talk to a lawyer for that, rather than asking on a forum.

    Thanks for the advice.

if we do that nonlegal, is there any fine?

how if my website concept is copied by someone else?

My website has been copied by someone 2 months ago but we found them and now they not same concept as us but I still need to secure my website.

As i'm basis in Indonesia. there is no such thing (copyright) we can talk to the lawyer.

worse scenario, If I pay the copyright, will I get the optin-out?

regarding to the copywriting, how many same content I can blast? example to 10 websites? 50 websites? with same content.

    thanks again

I'm a copywriter, I write advertising, I cannot give much more advice on copyright, which is about protecting your "intellectual property".

I'm not sure what you mean? If you own the work there is no fee to copyright it, you just declare it protected and that's all you need.

If you do NOT own the work and declare copyright on it then yes, you can be fined and forced to pay damages to the real owner.

You cannot copyright a concept/idea, only the work you have actually done. For example you can create your own search engine but you cannot call it "Boogle" and make it look (too much) like Google.

Google cannot sue you for creating a search engine (the idea) but they can if you copy their one.

Technically Indonesia DOES have copyright laws, they are just very poorly enforced. If you can afford a good lawyer you can sue, if you can't, well you can't.

Bali eh? Cakap bahasa Indonesia? Saya boleh sedikit, kerena pergi ke Kalimantan dengan isteri saya. Sekerang duduk Sarawak - tapi tidak boleh tolong dengan copyright, tidak pandai. Jika copyWriting, sangat pandai! :)

    Wine investment, in Bali? Interesting...

To be absolutely blunt, it doesn't sound like a viable prospect to me. If the world still had low interest rates and people thinking they were growing rich via credit, yes. In today's economy you'd only get the serious investor. Good sales copy would help but not much.

I may be wrong - I know nothing about wine or wine investment.

I presume this is international, seeing as Bali is an Islamic nation and part of Indonesia?

Anyway, I'm afraid it wouldn't really interest me. My typical fee is $2500 and I only work on commission with companies that can easily afford my fee - then it's me chasing them with the commission idea!

It's good that you asked though. So many business owners try to do everything themselves - and fail. Hiring experts is the right way to go.

If you can afford my fee, contact me with more details here:

I am sure this is the wrong place to post this. you want "copyright" or trademarking, and not copywriting. This is for copy writing and how to write copy. I am sure jhmattern (moderator) would want you to post this somewhere else.
