Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Mine also 2 Transactions reversed.

My Paypal balance is facing Negative balance.

Both payments were there of Service.

I heard only Paypal is reversing personal payments sent or recieved in India.

Is Service payments are also reversed?

 

Everything is getting reversed atm.. all received payments in India i.e., all payments TO India

 

use it to get out whatever is left on paypal. Else that too will be reverted to clients and then you will need to wait for a longer time to get paid and some clients might not be as unscrupulous as most. No ons suggesting u to use xoom for all time to come.... just as an exit for now before your account goes into negative balance

 

When I left this thread yesterday it was on 49th Page and now it's on 92 pages! Too many posts! Can anyone inform me latest updates with quick recap. Hope you don't mind guys!

 

I'd suggest you guys to ask your clients to hold the payments till the crisis is over.
I got a reversal today within one hour of the transaction made.

 

When this issue will be Resolved?

 

Apply for converting your PAN card... talk to a CA he should be able to advise you best. Also maybe visiting Karvy and asking for assistance with conversion will help.

 

Yesterday i sent mail to paypal about this issue

They told 10 hours but until no response from their side. :-(

 

PayPal now use new templates rather then same old ones. PayPal improved now.

 

RBI already getting all information thanks to use of NEFT which ensure that every details about our income reach to RBI as well as other authorities like Income Tax Department, Just 2 days ago I submit response on earnings on 2008/09 through internet and thanks to my CA( My Father) I got clearance with small 7,000 Rs tax.

 

@ Rohit: No great updates. A few of us tried contacting media and spreading out the news. But, no updates from their side either. iFreakz spoke to a higher official in paypal and he promised that this issue will be resolved by Monday night, I guess.

 

Thanks for letting me know about it, Their call centers suck big time and put us on hold for long time and after that only heard one words we are sorry and blah blah.

 

Right, he apologized for what was happened after i gave him details about my transactions. Initially, he kept saying that only personal transactions were getting reversed, but later i proved him that he was wrong,he agreed and told me it was a tie up issue with Indian banks, they'll get it resolved asap.
I'm going to call again today.

 

One of my friend did withdrawal on Feb 1 and he got his funds in bank on Feb 4. It was $60 something! Also one more member got his funds in bank who confirmed in one of PayPal thread.

 

Hey Guys,

This is a recession strike in India by paypal (F*C*I*G PAYPAL).It seems that Online Marketing has just stopped in India.

The most frustrating is the clients are still paying and transactions are still reverting back. 3 transactions of mine got reversed today.

When will these paypal bastards wake up??????????????

Man I am going mad. Its really a frustrating moment.

Well I wish he is talking with some information rather then just excuse like our Customer Care make happy by giving this kind of answer on any service/Products.

 

That's great but I think they should do some work rather then saying we are sorry, it's damage our business now as we can't take any payments by any way and we can't provide service until they come with some information.

 

so they making 50 Rs fees by allowing such balance
