Everyone seems to think ezine, goarticles and articlebase are the top article directories to submit to.. I personally submit to over 2,000 websites, directories, groups, publishers and so-on. Of course Google does... I see this all the time..
Incorrect, Google may still index web pages with duplicate content, so there isn't really a problem with that, but personally there is no point mass-submitting, because yes Google will take some sort of action for the duplicate content. Your better off building some backlinks to your articles page and using highly ranked sources, like ezinearticles, goarticles & articlebase.
This comment shows you know nothing about seo and link building. And further more you offer no other alternative to the OP's problem. A good program that is free to use is the Free Traffic System , you can add an article to 30 different blogs all with variable pr. Otherwise i would manually submit to the top 50 article directories, Enjoy, Jason
Thanks for the suggestion of FreeTrafficSystem Jason. I hadn't heard of it before but will check it out now. Seriously though, submit manually to the top 50? Does anyone have the time to do that? Is there no method that could speed things up, if only a little...
Instead of submitting ur Article to 100s of article directories, submit it to 1 Popular & High PR directory to get all the linkjuice. Just my 2 cent
I am using only three article directories and I think submitting to 5 directories is more than enough. ezine articlebase goarticle
So quality is better than quantity, Right?. Can someone tell me what is the traffic from article directory like? - high conversion customer, a lot of traffic but won't sell or just little traffic from article directory
The reason you need to manually submit your articles is because a lot of the available software out there doesn't select the right catorgories. At least submit to articlebase.com, there is a plug in for WP that pulls there articles and puts them on auto blogs, you can gain a lot of backlinks by using them
Best article Directories: PR6 - ArticleCity.com - easy submission GoArticles.com - PR6 PR6 - eZineArticles.com SearchWarp.com - allows you to have anchor text within the article.
just search "submit articles" or "articles submit" or the similar related keywords in google, you will find many free articles submition sites.
JJ-There is certainly some debate here about the relative worth of do-follow versus no-follow. If you're worried about it, simply choose one of the other article directories and go from there. My advice is to start with EZA and once it is approved and indexed, submit to 5-10 others.
In my experience they help very little, if at all. The free link directories themselves have minimal SEO impact.
Submit to EZA first, then use a service like Unique Article Wizard to spin the article and mass submit to other directories.
I like to put it out to iSnare, which takes a while to approve. Then I put it out on Unique Article Wizard and Article Marketing Automation. Both of these services submit spun versions to different article sites and blogs.
