I have a new site that I have up and running at www.bunniesblog.com. I have created a FB and Twitter account and every post gets automatically posted on them. I have a couple hundred friends/followers on each so it seems to be working ok, however I'm not making any money from the site. I've tried to make it very clean, streamline, and offer member-only content for free (authorized through the publisher) that you can't find elsewhere. I'm even willing to reimburse users for the trial signups myself, but don't really know where to market that either. I have read tons of threads and forums, and just am not sure where to go. I'm willing to pay for good traffic, but once again, just not sure where to go. Any specific suggestions or advise would be greatly helpful.
The best way to get quick free traffic is to contact people in the same niche and try and close a joint venture
1. Use a PPC advertising if your willing to pay for it 2. Use traffic exchanges and set the landing page to your sell page 3. be on way more social media sites than just twitter and facebook although those seem to be the best 4. build as many links as possible (blog comments, submitting to article directories, recipricol linking, etc) 5. update your site with new content at least once a week 6. set up a Feedburner account so subscribers get updated content sent to their email. 7. submit your site to directories here's a list of 202 free ones: http://www.findblogideas.com/2009/12/submitting-your-blog-to-free.html hope this helps.
To get quick traffic you should try google adword and for constant traffic with any up front money go for article submission and ad posting in classified...
Post comments on blogs of your niche, post in forums of your niche with best quality you can and see the results.
Find out where all of your future members are hanging out. That means go to forums in the same niche, social networks, everything like that and just join them! Post up links to your site, share content, and soon enough you'll gain tons of members.
