he was the lesser of two evils. actually I don't think he's evil or corrupt but he's too naive. He's gone back on a lot of promises because he simply can't deliver on them, there are too many lobby groups and too much mud rucking from the GOP for him to make progress. He was a little too idealistic and unfortunately he's likely not going to win for a 2nd term. Especially if the health care bill doesn't pass. He's def a better president than Mccain and Bush. And voting for Obama was more about seeing change, than actually getting it. If Mccain had won things would have been much worse.
They have all been flushed out on that one - Obama in particular can now state just what he wants and let the chips fall where they may....Gov't option, national clearing house, low affordable premiums especially for the healthy and required support by all citizens.

OnT: I'm not an American citizen, however, I've got the impression that Obama's reforms have worked out quite well.
