    Don fight guys. We all have conflicting infos. What we can do is share. If one wants to accept it, well and good or else let it stay how it is for them. I dunno but I feel tomorrow may be a diff day. Today, it has been a day of posts. I have seen people post 100 messages on this thread alone.

    May be we get something in return for all this tomorrow. Probably, the Horror gets Over for all of us.

    NOC,
    - Have you seen this?
    - I am not sure why I got it and don't have any background on it but it looks like something that needs investigation.

    Subject: Paypal Issues and Crisis

    Hi,

    This is in regards to the recent Paypal issue in India. In case you are not aware of the issue (which is highly unlikely), let me reiterate the same. Indian Paypal transfers are being reversed back and we cannot withdraw the same to Indian banks.

    When we contact any of your so called customer reps, we get a boiler plate response (I know you have FAQ files with standard answers)

    I know how big a company paypal is. If there were some issues from your end, it is your duty to make things clear for us customers. By doing this not only you are causing inconvenience to us but actually losing a lot of valuable customers.

    I really hope that unlike your reps who are in hibernation, you on the other hand will provide me with a valid reason for this and state a time frame as to when it can be resolved.

    If i do not recieve any reply, I and 1 billion of us Indians would assume that Paypal is yet another scam trying to suck our money.

    I really request you to give us some answers this time.

    Regards

    A valuable customer

    *Clearly, it seems like paypal is playing with us!*

    I'm tired of watching the clashes and started playing Minesweeper.. We all have different information and no valid proofs of them. Overall, it's all about paypal.. not the RBI

    I think its time we stop blaming PayPal and start helping them by calling RBI instead. because i think they are the real culprits here who blocked those NEFTs and stopped our money from reaching us.

    PayPal--->RBI--->Our bank

    the funds status shows completed in our paypal account. so whose fault is this then?

    @adda4u

    1. Paypal transfers the money to Deutche Bank or City Bank when we initiate a transfer
    2. Deutche Bank or City Bank transfers it to RBI Clearing House, who mediates settlements between banks
    3. RBI clearing House Transfers money to your bank (Ex: ICICI Bank)

    That is how it works..

    Check RBI's notification page, do check from Feb 01/2010 to Feb 05/2010..
    Nothing seems too alarming on that list, but who knows.. perhaps a finance guru might be able to dig something up.

    On the other hand, if it's not the RBI or some Gov. agency.. then I'd be very disappointed with Paypal's management. The only question then is.. what have we done wrong to get deserve such pathetic treatment?

    Agreed, our present matter of concern is to get money in bank account and resolve reversal issue.

    but we are PP customers and the least they could have done is let us know why they are reversing ALL of our payments.
