Hi I know that it is forbidden to run Adwords and Adsense at the same time on the same website, and I would like to ask for your advice. I used Adwords on my website about two months ago, then I paused and a few days ago I put some Adsense ads. Now I get a letter from Google, a free Adwords coupon. I would like to use it, but I'm a little worried I'll get penalized If I do. Of course, I intend to remove the Adsense codes before I start with Adwords, but will it be enough? Won't Google think I'm doing something unethical? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm just trying to be extra careful with my baby website.
go to the googl chat are and ask them for the correct answer... it is very interactive .... youlll get your answer from them asap .... cheers
It's NOT forbidden to run adwords and adsense for the same site. What is against the ToS is arbitrage. If it's clear that your site has a purpose other than to get people to click on ads, then you can use adwords with no problem. And even so, they won't ban you in the first place, they either won't run your ads, or will make adwords prohibitively expensive.
No. I can't imagine why you're asking me this. I have a lot of experience with adwords, little with adsense. That's why I post in the adwords forum, and not in the adsense forum.
mada - am sorry here ... with no intent to insult .... By all means I respect all in DP and you as a pro lol I wanted this post high in the adsense profile ... also I do use the google adword support and free chat form to get info .... lol
Magda is correct, you can use both for your site, but make sure the content on your landing pages is original, revelant and transparent (Google's words). If you have affiliate links, make sure they have rel="nofollow."
I'm only passing on what I've read quite a few times. A number of people have said they got banned or suspended for not using no follow with affiliate links. Sometimes they say it has to do with distributing page rank value, but it also may have to do with "transparency," which is a big thing for Google. But again, I'm just sharing what I keep reading. I'd rather play it safe than run the risk of being banned, so I use no follow whenever I can. You might be fine without it.
great blogs you have ..... getting banned for good contents is not essential ..... thanks for the no follow issues... yah I market affiliate stuff like vitamins and pet food .... maybe I need others like click bank seo or somthin ....
