An idea!!! Why can't we videotape some responses by mobile or with Handycam and post in Youtube...We can embed it in other forums too..it will spread like wildfire !!!

As i said earlier, ICICI won't be of any help since the money is with RBI, ICICI probably hasn't been forwarded with the transaction from RBI yet.
Well, As i said earlier, I'll be calling paypal, I did call them Details can be found here . Unable to publish the recording online as it has my details and i'm too lazy to edit it now ^_^
Anyway, I don't think anything will be resolved before monday. But we'll have it all fixed as far as i can understand. Personal payment option will however he removed.

 

Well, I did not call using phone. I have a US Number and a US Phone and also have the calls recorded, But since it has my email id, web pin and a few transaction ids, i am unable to publish it openly.
I guess, the forum texts are enough to bring attention of people and even paypal representatives. Anyone googling 'Paypal returning payments in india' will be linked to our thread straight.

They have revered the Personal Payments. They did not reverse any payment if you have received those payments against a invoice generated by you or from your shopping cart. Personal payments violates RBI regulation for Foreign Exchange as it shown as gift by the Paypal users while filing their IT return. Yesterday my personal payment was also reversed. I generated an Paypal invoice and sent to my client. He makes payment and it is not reversed now.

This clarifies one point of the issue. But my withdrawal request made on 1st Feb still deposited in my Bank Account. However it is showing completed on Paypal. I wrote to Paypal. However it seems PayPal US has no intimation about it. Please see the email I received from them today.

It's just usual voice calling pal, nothing great. The call was kept on hold around 10mins, then the customer care forwarded to an higher department on my request after i told them, I need to find a solution to it anyhow today, since it's causing a great trouble to most businessmen of india. And then the guy said, whatever i had typed above.

 

Have you seen such problem with Paypal earlier also?

Hey..great...I was not talking about paypal audio..But individual video responses of users about how Paypal has cheated us...

As somebody told..we cannot rely on the promises made by Paypal...I got 4 replies by mail from Paypal and each one was different and conflicting..

Yes..ofcourse...paypal technicians are hard at work to fix Indians...

 

As you think they are not working hard on the issue....This issue started from 27th January...and does anybody think that Paypal is a small organization with 2 developers to rectify the issue..

This is something else...I am sure about it...Why did they reverse payments even today ?????

 

Well, at least in my city, I'm expecting it to crop up in two major daily newspapers.
They were very supportive and I sat in an AC room with a journalist, who took notes as I told him the things..

Called NDTV, not much expectations from them, though..

 

I was supposed to get a reply in 003 hours and it is past 8hrs and no reply.Feel so screwed ATM.and with RS payment just in the next week.hope this gets solved soon.Else i am going to loose.

It's not true in my condition as i made invoice on 2 FEB and i paid on same day by client and that one reverse on 5th FEB

I was having emails from Paypal about reversal for two days. Before that everything was smooth. I even withdrew some amount to my bank account but that was not credited to my account though its is minus from Paypal account. I am worried about my withdrawn amount.
By reading your messages, I am a bit relaxed.
