Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

I doubt if anyone is really successful in getting the funds in his/her Indian bank account.
I myself have been waiting since 30th Jan and my redemption is still to see the light of the day!

Damn why cannot one biggie company turn up with a e-payment processer in India. I think there are quite a lot of well funded componies in India isn't it?

 

And most of the time, his tweets get to the news (and India TV start a "Breaking News" on it too)

RBI is way too bigger than Paypal.

If they sit back on their chairs, you'll lose money automatically.. (but they don't)

 

I think payments taken from invoices are not being reversed.
I received payment yesterday from an auto generated invoice by my script and its' not reversed.

Also, I paid infibeam on 1st feb which wasn't reversed either.

You can't be sure, mate.

PP is still reversing payments dated back to Feb 3.. So, it's too early to reach a conclusion on a payment of yesterday..

 

From what we've heard from the folks at paypal till now, they are returning all payment sent/received from/by Indian paypal accounts which do not have a shipping address. So whether the payment was sent using the masspay option or the services option or the personal payment option, it will be returned unless there is a shipping address included.

 

If this happened in US...I am quite sure that there would be a class action suit filed against PayPal...They are taking us Indians for a ride...

Not correct dude...Payments made today using "Goods" option and with valid addresses were reversed too...

This is news to me. Are you sure about this? All the reversal emails that paypal have sent so far advise us to ask the sender to resend the payment to us using the 'payment for goods' option.

 

Then it's best to generate invoices from scripts for purchase of products or services, i guess.

And as my friend above said, if it had been US then they would've taken some serious action, but indian government or banks employees are hardly aware of a company called Paypal. Like if you tell them 'Do you accept payments by paypal?'', they'll think twice and ask you to explain what that means..Lol

 

People sending these kinds of mails make the situation worse!!

I think no one!!

I withdrawn on Feb 2 and status is completed.. but its not reached to bank.

 

This has hit me. I confirm. I got payment as "goods" with shipping info added.

Payment was reversed after 26 hours or so..
