Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

There is a possibility that PayPal got hacked...maybe by Anti-Indian Hackers....

 

Today I got many transactions reversed. I think we have to organize well to solve this situation.

Since yesturday I have this doubt but did not discuss it here... I thought if i say something without completely knowing the truth, it might disturb our friends and they may get even frustrated...

 

honestly is this cancellation fee or cancelled fee?

 

Another reversal a min ago. Its still going on. And PayPal is working today.

 

Yes we all knows now that PayPal will reverse all transition done from Feb 1 under their so called Personal Optio!

 

Nope, it has nothing to do with hacking. I think it has to do with taxation. We remit a lot of money and we don't pay TAX. So, it's an issue brought up by RBI. If this same thing is hapenning in Feb of every year, then it should be the reason.

Cancellation Fee is only for some users...I did not incur any cancellation fee....thank god...

 

BAD news

GOOD News - at least they may also work towards resolution of the issue and not only towards reversals.
PS: 'today' is still Friday night for them, right ? so they are just doing some overtime I guess, may go on leave on Sat + Sun

 

Yup.Friday night for them. Or maybe no one will go home till this issue is resolved.

yes - Feb may be teh time PayPal needs to give some answers but again it's a big company they needn't have implemented things in such a messy manner and the least they could have done is inform us in a proper manner about what we can expect and exactly when will this be resolved...

 

I am not talking about all Month but I am talking about recent days where they are reversing all money!

 

Now PayPal have removed the Personal tab from the send money option altogether. Just check out the below screen shot.

So from now onwards, Indians will not be able to use the Personal tab. People from other countries can use but they will not see India in the country list. About other countries whether they have the personal tab or not. Not sure...



So it is not a technical bug...they are deliberately doing it....

 

Now they reversed payments up Feb 04. They are doing it for all recent payments, if the buyer is not mentioned a shipping address. This is too bad for Service providers as us

I found this on Feb 1 about the removal of Personal payments tab. I told you, they're doing this on purpose.

 

guys, i am very worried for this withdrawal delay.
Now more than 11 days have passed and I do not get any money to the bank....
I have more than 71000/- INR in withdrawals...

I have 3 questions :-

1) Is our Money Safe?
2) Suppose, if paypal is unable to find any solutions, what happens then? Will our money return back to Paypal ? or will it be lost ?
3) What about future business? Is it safe to do business with Paypal now? My customers want to pay with Paypal but what is the use when I cannot access the money. what should i do?

Paypal is loosing great money as paypal fee with personal options. As more and more work is assigned to India so they have to implement this.

This was expected by me but certainly not in this manner and mess up.
