Faster Ezine approvals?

    Hey everybody!
Ive noticed that ezine articles approval times have drastically reduced in the last month or so. Anyone else noticed this? Its an awesome thing but have any idea WHY this is happening?

Another thing i've noticed is that AB has very wierd rules or submission now. They rejected an article of mine saying that I was promoting my own site in it! Umm i cud hav sworn the fact that AB sent me mails asking me to do the exact same thing!
Its all a little wierd. Almost looks like they sites exchanged managements!

    any input on this?

AB stated that you were promoting your own website? I can hardly believe this since that's the point of article marketing to drive traffic to your landing pages.

AB has always approved my articles on time and I have several thousands laying in that directory. And for ezine you'll need a platinum level account to get the articles approved faster /. or upgrade to premium (I have personally upgraded for some of my accounts)

LOL everyone knows that you can't promote your own site with article marketing, don't they? :p

Probably got some new staff in mate that are not sure what they are doing, did you write an email to them and find out what was going on?

That's weird. I blatantly promoted my site in a few of my article bodies with AB today and they got approved. They seem to be a lot more lenient with that type of stuff than EZA.

EZA is another story for me...they declined 8 of my articles over the past few days and gave me no reason why. I waited for 3 days to get a response from their support staff and then I changed the articles to how they told me it needs to be. They got declined again....

I think I'm done with EZA for a while and gonna try to stick with AB to see how it goes. A lot of people seem to be having success with AB and like them a lot more.

Yes. Yesterday one of my articles was published within 12 hours of my submission.I am a basic plus author.I wonder how long it takes for platinum level authors to have their articles published.

Ezine article is much faster than one month ago indeed. We're writing 20 articles per day and have 5 articles published everyday.

I like the new design at Base, but Im not a big fan of them since I discovered the only give nofollow backlinks in your articles, and I agree with EZA approving articles within a day or 2 for me max it's a much better option imo

Hum. I have noticed even faster turnaround in there aprovals. They were fast, but now there real fast. I have only had one article rejected out of about 50. I was also writing about a site and not a subject when I was rejected. May be the problem. I rewrite the article on the subject of the site and was accepted the second time around.

haha, that's funny! If we cannot promote our own website, then what's the point of article marketing? Do they expect us to promote our competitors?

EZA are cracking down on affiliate marketing, they are actually calling it a WAR!

I wrote about this on my blog recently and linked to the EZA blog where they literally declared war on affiliate marketing! It isn't what it used to be.

Wow, I read the post on your blog and that's nuts.

They said it themselves that 90% of affiliate marketers are sending in thin articles with the point of getting the user to their own page. So basically if they become more strict and stop accepting these types of articles they are going to lose 90% of potential traffic to the site.

I'm not saying I support crappy rehashed articles and I do try to always provide good content with my articles, but if that's what most people are writing then all they will do is go to the other directories when EZA declines them. EZA is only hurting themselves by doing this I think.

Nobody goes onto EZA to search for a solution to their problem. They use Google or another search engine and if the results happen to contain an article that's how they get there.

Whatever though, I recently got 8 of my articles declined by EZA even though they were good quality and then I waited for 3 days for a response. I changed the articles to how they wanted me to and then they got declined again. I've decided to make the switch to Articles Base after that. AB accepted them within like 8 hours.
