It's good income once you find the right niches. Amazon usually have great prices on most products so it's fairly easy to get some conversions. Also, they have good up-selling techniques so it's rare there's a one-item order (for me anyway).
What you mean is, once you signed up someone that will get you further commission, due that person ordering more via amazon. That makes sense. Just that I found out that the shipping conditions of amazon aren't that good for South Africa.
I, like many people here started off not making enough, but over the years, I've been averaging around $200 per month. Like @ManMadeMarketing said, most of my method is through product review and it works like magic. Have a look at my blogs to give you an idea of how I do it. If you're also interested I could post a screenshot of one of my cheques if anyone's interested. Good luck
... Thanks, I first need to get familiar with the basics of amazon. It seems that I am not an associate with amazon, while I can place adds on my blogspot blogs.
I'm not making much at all at the moment but then again I've also just started working specifically with the Amazon associates program.
I agree, I also tried to use widgets, but it did not worked. Now I am writing a rewievs of product with links in the text and I started to earn money.
I also did that but it does not work for me either. I did blog review on some of the products but 0% convertion rate
This is not an over night process, you should give it time then you will see the rewards. It's also worth mentioning that having a decent traffic on your blog also helps. Good luck
Thanks for the real tip. And wow this post is filled with so much random spam its almost unreadable .
Really interesting, please be more specific... Does it need high traffic blog/site ? are your system easy to implemented for a beginner ? I might interested
Decent traffic for me is subjective, an average of 300 or more visits per day is decent enough. Any thing more than that is a bonus. HTH Helen
I agree 300 unique human visitors on a site per day are good. My sites usually do have far less (about 200). and most blogs have less then ten (with exceptions). I do howerver reckon that I will be able to increase this drastically soon, due to simple synergy effects.
I only signed up for amazon programme last month but as it is related to my niche I have already made a few quids, my blog is www.topukargains.com so I list a few items everyday from amazon and get many clicks but a few sales.
I already have some 1000+/day consistent traffic but still conversion rate is zero. is it ok to promote amazon affiliate links and widgets on some other websites other than the approved website?
When I registered for amazon associates, I could list more then one web site. It should be noted that I did put links on blogs (who also promote these web sites).
