I use mostly mice, though Wacom tablets are awesome and very useful. If you are serious about graphic design it's a must.

Generally I would sketch out some ideas, scan the best in a typical flatbed scanner and pen the logos in Illustrator. I would only use a tablet for paint/sketch work.

I have a friend that uses a tablet and swears by it but I find i can get by just fine with the mouse. Takes a lot of getting used to with the tablet.

Well you can use anything to make logo. It can dne by using mouse or even by light pen. For professional people they used tablet and it is very nice and accurate and distinct from others.

I don't think it matters if you use a mouse or walcom, but you want to use either Photoshop or Illustrator to create logos or most any graphics.

No I didn't like using the tablet. I simply use a mouse.

Depends. My friend uses Wacom so with that being said I think I'm going to get one for myself. I'm a decent drawer it shouldn't be no problem!!

I have a wacom volito 2 tablet, and i use it from time to time, but like most, I usually sketch by hand, and use my mouse to create the majority of my logo's. At the end of the day, it's easier to people to learn to use the mouse, as it's not an extra expense to them

It depends on how detailed the logo will be. Depending on those issues, I will either use a regular mouse or my Wacom Bamboo tablet.

I tried using a tablet. I prefer to use a lightbox, pencil, scanner, and photoshop and/or Illustrator.

Well, we all know how expensive graphic tablet is and I can say that it is only use for making such 2d drawings which is to be animated as soon as the graphic is finished. You can make a logo using it but if you don't have the budget you can use mouse in doing your logo design. I usually make logo by the use of an optical mouse :).

Yes you must change your tablet to wacom CINTIQ or intuos.
Hanvon is a new brand so we still don't about the quality and sevice. wacom is the best tablet :D

I use my tablet to draw, but when I have to use the toolbars, I tend to switch over to my mouse.

Hanvon 12"x9" is really not bad, its size is larger than a normal 17" lcd monitor. One of my friend is using it now.Price is lower compared with wacom and one extra pen as gift ...
