    Thanks for the share... adda4U. Their response clearly suggest that their operation is really messy right now and probably to accommodate RBI directive, they have goofed up... big time! :(

    I am particularly miffed up at their not refunding the fees as well while reversing the payments. How can they deduct their fees.. since these reversals are due to the fault in their system and not by their customers? :mad:

    Right man, I have the same feeling. These guys are showing that they are really irresponsible. See the reply, they don't know what to do, when it will be solved or what to tell. I don't understand what they think about Indian sellers.

    seriously if there was some good alternate services to compete with them, they would be screwed and would be losing millions of business. Remember that they won't pay any interest for the money for the period(which is long most of the time) in our accounts, and always get good money (with the less currency exchange rates).

    Then why they are not giving a better service. I really really wish, some indian public service banking sectors should start something with the support of RBI and Govt to compete them. Don't know whether this would happen a day.. :( :(

    I agree RightMan that from the above mail posted by adda4u it seems that the mess is going on due to some new rules etc. by Reserve Bank of India and the problem must be going on between paypal and RBI as most people here were speculating. Hope that everything is resolved soon.

    I trust paypal.
    They will definately solve problem.

    If similar problem we find with any of our govt organiuzation and ask them for support, they wont reply like paypal support team..

    so just trust on paypal, they will definately resolve issue..

    Now this answer make some sense and I think now we can come on conclusion that they are facing problems from RBI or other regulations. Best thing for us to wait for next 2-3 days and avoid any transition under Service option.

    I have it on good record from a high ranking Banking official, there's been no embargo from RBI for any Paypal based transactions.

    Whatever the issues are, they're at Paypal's end..

    When I spoke to their customer care on Friday, they told me to wait till Monday (latest Tuesday) and the problems will be sorted out.

    Hopefully it is a beautiful Monday and ppl get their withdrawals and no more reversals happen..



    P.S. I have a Business Verified Account, and I was livid with them for reversing a couple of transactions. Though to be fair to them, when they did reverse the transactions, they refunded the fees (automatically)..

    Just to clarify that there is no issue with RBI or NEFT system ,

    I m doing daily 3rd Party Transfer with NEFT , and it get completed all time after 24hrs of Payment,

    i did such transaction on 25th ,28th, 30th 2nd feb,

    All got completed .

    ( I m taking about bank to bank transfer with 3rd party (NEFT) system)

    Hi, Yes thats right they are reversing the fees.. but the issue is to keep a track of all reversals and run after clients after services have been rendered - which is quite a headache, trust me :(
