I've got a new website up and done the usual article submission and link building which normally speeds up there process of getting indexed, but but site still isn't appearing in Google in the amount of time it's taken other sites of mine to appear. It's only been about 1 week to be honest, but usually by the time my Ezine article is up my site's up withing two days after that with all the stuff I do before.

I've been told about Web Master tools and checked that and my site's been crawled I think at least twice (It has different numbers for the highest amount of pages crawled per day and the lowest), does this mean Google's visiting my site but doesn't want to index it? Or it still takes longer even after your site's been crawled? Thanks in advance for the help.

Same thing with me. But my site is visited by googlebot 10-15 time per day. 120 pages from Sitemap is taken - and zero in index.
Today I have send site for their manual investigation. I think that problem can be from previous owner of domain

Do you know if sites are usually indexed as soon as they're crawled or does it take time after that? Just wondering if I should wait to see what happens or go for a manual investigation now...
    Thanks for your help.

If you have backlinks (I have >80) indexing should not take a 4 weeks - like in my case

It would help if you will use button "quote"
And people can get who you are talking with

I had nothing to quote and was answering the person who started the thread asking for support, but in any case both of you did not give a url so what does it matter ? ;)

Did you try to search your content with Google search using "site: YOURSITE.com KEYWORD"

Google is taking longer time to index new sites these days. I have few new sites and they are taking much longer time than before. No matter how much backlinks you build. It's better to be patient.
