Till yesterday I was no.6 for a search term.yesterday I installed Jeff johnson's free traffic getting SEO plugin.Instead of free traffic getting after the blog tweaks recommended by the plugin,i saw that my search engine position is disappeared.Now I cant find myself in any of the position.Its way down.Do you think it has got anything to do with the plugin
Friend, I don't think that installing/uninstalling a plugin can do much with SERPs you may please check about drop of some of your links. Like blog comments or so.. PRGuy!
No man I did see that the plugin traffic getting SEO plugin asked for 23 tweaks so as to make the blog more optimized.I did and as a result of the tweaks,most of my blog parametres changed.I can only see 5 feautured results in the home page plus my permalink is changed to a postid/postname. Just the next day after the tweaks,my search engine results disappeared.I gone from no.6 to no where.I cant see where I am right now. Also it installed ping optimizer which controls the pings given.Do you think that must be the prob?
What kind of plugin is that? Free traffic getting plugin or is that some other thing. This can be the case that ranking has been effected due to this plugin. But not sure
Yes thats right free traffic getting plugin from Jeff Johnson.After doing what is advised by the plugin,instead of being free traffic plugin,it virtually took my 6th position of which I build up for many days.Do you think I can come back again to the highest spot?
I think this is your issue. Google relies on unique URLs and if you changed your permalink structure, all your URLS have been rewritten. Google assumes the pages are gone, but they've simply been moved to a new URL. Get a copy of your old sitemap and 301 those old pages to the new URLS from server side. Should see it fixed in your next crawl.
There might be some case that it is due to this plugin directly. Or check whether it that plugin is putting some outbound from your website in the footer as there are many plugins which requires links or upgrade to use them completely. Check that out..
It will re-index them, don't worry. Just try not to change URL paths as this will basically trash your site's traffic for a while each time you do it.
Could just be the 'Google Dance' as lots of people are seeing strange fluctuations in their rankings at the moment. Sure it will come back shortly.
Nowadays Google ranking issue is effected one of my website I have not done anything wrong I guess it is google dance in your case I don't think it is effected the plug-in ,should be come back very soon
