yahoo is silent...why?

google is giving me 30-50 visitor daily but yahoo is silent......only 5 to 10 visitor monthly..... it is why? how can i get more?

 

You need yo just wait all SE are different, try building more links and doing some On and Off page SEO.

google and yahoo has their own unique algorithms. yuo will often find that the site ranking well on google dont uaually rank the same on yahoo at the same time. to get yahoo traffic, you will need to rank higher there also.

another thing to keep in mind that lot more people use google than yahoo. so search volume for the same keyword is not the same on both search engines

 

it depends on your keyword too. Different SEs are popular in different countries. If your keyword is popular in, say Argentina, and the population there largely uses Yahoo, and your site ranks high in Google and not Yahoo, I doubt you'll see many visitors.

And vice versa.

 

Gee maybe it has something to do with the FACT that most people use Google and NOT Yahoo. So even if you have high rankings in Yahoo you still won't pull high traffic.

 

All search engines are different. Some search engines even derive their results from others in exchange for revenue.
Yahoo is easy to get backlinks from but the traffic you receive also depends on the number of users using it.

 

oh yahoo is giving you less visitors..that's very obvious that very few uses it..better more concentrate on google for full results..

 

majority of users actually using G now, but don't loose hope there still worth traffic coming from Y.

 

I believe the breakdown on search is 65% G, bing 10-11%, Y 24-25%, that's sort of 'official', but I believe its more like 70%G/15%B/15%Y.

 

because many people use only google... yahoo is not so good as google

 

They both are different and work in a different way. Have patience the result will be good. Try hard and make majority of links .

 

google is best every where..

 

I get arund 50k from G, Around 15K from Yahoo and 1K from Bing. I guess it differs on different people

 

its difficult to get top 10 in google where as in yahoo its easy . i dunno why all the google results are spam these days?

 

I always get Yahoo! gets silent moreover Google getting biggest as Popular Search Engine over INTERNET

 

One thing is sure that you will hardly get any visitor from yahoo search but you can get good targeted traffic nearly 50 a day if you daily use yahoo answer..

Yes, if you get any visitor from Yahoo then its real good as Yahoo do not have too much traffic for searching purpose.

Best concentrate on Google only as 70% of people in World searches through Google.

 

Obviously google is better.
If you want to get more visitor on yahoo, make more links.

 

Yea bing stats aren't always great. I noticed about a 30-40% difference from awstates to other stats software I have. If Bing becomes the iPhone/iPad search engine, we'll see the % of market share for Bing jump. That's not a fact, but it's possible.
