I am going to be upgrading my site to give a better and more professional feel..... Apart from buying a domain what do you think i can do to make a more professional forum?

remove the advertisement which is not needed..

try to change the template to look more attractive.

when you say remove the advertisment... which advertisment (google ads?)

 

Site and skin is ok and functional.
Maybe tune the top horizontal scrolling bar;
make it scroll slower.

 

I have made it slower now, is that better?

header is very big.. and top navigation needs improvement, it was difficult for me to find out a link to register..

i like it but your logo needs to be more original not from cooltext.com but i like it overall

 

I accept the point on the logo... i am working on that.

I have made a lot of changes to my forum over the past few days.
What does everyone think now?

Everything alright except your site header its not good i thing

 

It's fine. You have a nice good looking forum. But like others mention the header size is two big and reduce the white space just before the footer apart from that it's ok.
