    Guys

I have 3 boot able partitions on same hard drive that I use for different purpose. When one partition is slower or too many junk softwares are installed then I format that partition and install fresh copy of windows xp. I think it is wastage of time.

What I want to do is that I install a fresh windows xp at one partition and then save/copy it to non-boot able partition of same drive.

So whenever I required fresh installation of xp I simply copy from that saved copy.

How can I completely copy a partition to another partition or in a folder at other partition? Any good partition copy utility that you know?

    Hi There

Seems a bit of a crazy idea

Why dont you install bare XP on one partition and put your data etc on the other partitions?

You could create a bare XP install and clone this to another drive or partition but reinstalling from the clone will wipe everything.

There are some good FREE cloning tools on my Computer Support Tools page
