I'm just looking into helping a customer list products in google shopping. The registration/upload process looks very simple (at least using the file upload) but perhaps unusual for Google, the ranking of product searches seems to be just on the submitted product data itself. Does anyone know if the rankings are affected by other items or have any other tips on improving rankings in the shopping listings?
Then why bother to post To address the question - price is a factor - it's largely a price comparison engine. It also helps to fill in as many of the optional identifiers as possible. Other than that, it's standard stuff like matching the search query/ keyword. Getting good reviews is a HUGE advantage - if you can add a review page to the confirmation page at the end of the ordering process, it's a big help
I had tried to help one of my customer for listing products in google shopping. Sure the upload process was very simple and easy to manuvre. The rankings does have some affect by other items...
