Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Two more payments of mine got reversed now, this is hectic, and the process of reversal is still on. I dont know if i should pause my services/sales for now.

I heard that it charges deductions at two levels. Initial 5% and then some percentage when they send you wire.

I had this problem once. The PayPal balance went into negative and they canceled the last withdrawal request I initiated. Got the balance to positive and I made the fresh withdrawal of the balance amount. This is what they usually do. Also as for your card if you have attached it to your PayPal account, they cannot debit your card for the reason of getting the balance to positive unless you specifically instruct them. Neither can they make a transfer from your bank account. If the balance remains in neg for some days they will Limit the account. That means no withdrawals, no sending money.

If the Withdrawals status is "completed" than I doubt if paypal will be able to reverse it to adjust the negative balance.

There is no days as such Paypal will wait to make the negative balance positive. But as this situation was brought due to them, I think they will wait for some time. But in other cases where negative balance was caused due to customer opening a dispute, Paypal used to limit the account in few hours and ask for various documents....

 

Yeah. even I dont think they have started processing the withdrawals. They wont do it till all Personal payments have been reversed because they affect so many accounts collectively.

 

I agree. At least the big networks and trusted people which we deal with is expected to send back the money while a person who takes new clients or sells something might be at a huge loss as it might not be returned. I hope paypal resolves everything themselves and reverses back the money to us again though I doubt they will do it.

 

if PP account is negative, there is no way paypal is gonna allow withdrawals to hit our banks. Thats a given.

all guys can have any idea of still how many days it will take to get money in account, next 2 days are holiday for paypal???

It is our money and we are waiting like dogs (no offence intended) to have it credited for past atleast 5-6 days....
very disappointing.......

Yes they are charging. two reversal of my client payment had charge me Something $$

 

Its really a bad thing that never happened before.
Am also facing the same problem.

 

As Paypal is still reversing the so called Personal Payments, I doubt that we will receive not before the reversal process is complete and Negative balance accounts of members are settled.

I have no reversals but i am still suffering due to this......

 

My textlinkads payment of $399.47 USD on 1rst Feb, 2009 was withdrawn by me on 1rst February itself and the status of payment was displayed as "completed". But till date (5th Feb) I have not received the money in my ICICI Bank account. Today I received the mail that:

We reversed this payment because we have stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India.

And my account is displaying Negative Balance...

My question is?

1. My transfer to bank was shown as completed.....Is it not cheating by Paypal ????
2. How can I have Negative Balance on my account...If I receive $399.47 and Paypal returns the money back to TLA..How can I have a negative balance..unless it was already transferred to my bank account, in which case it will be negative...But I have not received the money on my account...SEEMS LIKE A BUG TO ME....
3. How can Paypal ask TLA who have been approved for mass payments for advertising text links (a service) to pay Indians as if they sold "GOODS" ?????

The statement in Paypal message "We are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we're sorry for any inconvenience."

again, this smells like a bug to me, which they have confessed as "we are trying to resolve the issue"....

It is not a change of RBI Policy, then it would have appeared in newspapers...

I have a premier account and not a personal account...

I am sure that it is a bug with paypal system...They were trying some changes with Indian accounts and landed in a mess..

I have written to TLA and is awaiting a reply from them....Does anybody know that TLA has received the refund
from Paypal....

Another question is "Where does this money go for 5 days, and in whose hands it is.."

Text Link Ads has other options for payment, like check, Payoneer Card..I think we can use it in India too.

CCAvenue provides a payment gateway for less fees and makes weekly payments too..

Let us discuss future options too...Paypal should learn some lesson from us too...

 

I talked to my buyer and he sent me the money back using "Goods"option. Now "Recent Activity" of my account is showing that I have received $200 but my Account Balance has not been updated as its showing $37.

Did I just lost my money because I have been waiting for 2 hours and its still haven't updated.

 

is there any other website where i can registered and also trusted like paypal which is now not much trusted...
