Paypal is making its own terms because its Authority in online business. First of all its widely accepted and second they are giving us direct bank transfer to our a/c. No other company is giving tough competition to Paypal. So until that alternative you have no choice.

well if we ask they may slowly give that option :)
few guys paid thru alertpay but withdraw option is not there for us :( check costs 6$ and another 7$+ may be for processing so it will be delayed :( but withdraw to US bank they charge 0.5$ ( as told by one of my friend )

Just because they are the biggest doesn't mean they will never fall and they can continue treating their customers anyway they want.
I think we should seriously think of an alternative to paypal
I have used Moneybookers for a few transactions and it was pretty smooth
What are your experiences with it?

I will stop using Paypal, as soon as, I find a service with the same (or better) features and acceptance...:).

Till then, I will stick to Paypal.

We knows that we have no proper option at the moment and I can't see any proper solution. PayPal is only option and I think we should wait for their answer who knows they also get any direction from authorities.

Don't forget to let us know if you really find out. :)

Its really very hard to leave PayPal. All alternatives are either expensive or have more limitations.

How is Payoneer for freelancer? is it really a good alternative of PayPal?

Won't happen so easily, people from all over the world work with these companies, just because Indians are facing this issue, they are not going to change their payment modes.

I started working online just a month back.I made a total of 120$ in the last 1 month.I withdrew 41$ on 31st which i have not yet received.Also,80$ was reversed.one of my clients immediately made the payment of 20$.But the clients who owe me 60$ have not yet responded. Its been 12 hours since i chose the "Request Money" option in Paypal,But none have responded so far. This is the worst start i could have had in this field.I'm really upset with whatever has happened.it will be a do/done situation. If i get my money back,i'll continue. If not,I'll better start working for some firm soon.

Just make US accounts. If they fuck them up the market share will hopefully decline.

I agree. But hope that paypal returns back the reversed payments to our account themselves. Anyways it was their mistake and so it was unprofessional to suddenly take back payments which we received. It is not our work again to ask for the payments back from the ad networks at least. Hopefully paypal returns back the reversed payments themselves but I am not sure how can that be done. I trusted paypal more than anything else but really this sudden unprofessionalism has reduced a bit of my trust though I think I will continue using them as usual once everything is settled (hopefully they settle themselves instead of depending on us for settling it)
