Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

i request on 2nd Feb. When i can expect

 

Lot of my payments recd from clients is been reversed and the payments i sent has been credited to my account, also i have 3 withdrawals pending from 29th Jan10...

Its very confusing situation with my paypal account and also with my clients, i am not sure i will be getting back all my reversed amount from clients, i may be loosing some amount or not but what ever is happening currently is not a good sign for the future...

We Indians have to seriously find a alternate way, relaying 100% on paypal seems not a wise thing(i know there is no alternate for us at the moment), we are in 100% risk of loosing our hard earned money with our paypal account anytime in future...

I am sure a major % of profit earned by Paypal is from Indian users and this kind of act from paypal is really abusing us(Indians), no proper intimations, no proper communications, no one knows what's happening in situations like this...

We have to live our life with similar situation, becz we are Indians and we can not do anything/fight paypal only sit in front of our computer and groan...

 

i think the emials said to be from PayPal is a fraudulent email that is not connected to PayPal , as when one of my clients checked the email details it shows this as the sender: http : // bounce.mkt2566 . com/ which seems to be some kind of email service that spammers and scammers could use.

all of my transactions from feb have been reversed till now... fortunately clients are sending th emoney back -- lets see if they reverse it again or not..

Yes and we are facing problems because of some members who prefer personal Option in past and now everything goes wrong for us. But at least now onwards we will avoid this problems..

 

My client has also re paid me but what happen if it reverse again

 

They are real, they have already taken money out of my account!

 

Well it happens because some people now take advantage of this problems. PayPal did many reversal in last 24 hours and process is still continue.

 

It wouldn't revert now as I read in this thread where PayPal mention that they make changes to stop payments to Indian account holders as Gift/Personal Option so I guess now everything is working perfect for us.

 

Thank god for that. I thought Paypal was shutting doors on Indians.

 

The reversal towards my account continues even with those transactions which were sent as "services", i have no clue whats going on. Paypal should come with some press release on this matter.

Ok people mine just got reversed one hour ago
So its still running ..
Is this the end of paypal in India.. ?
I will monitor the situation closely and nothing gets resolved by next week,i have no option to go for Check option from all my payment sources ..
It will take a hell lot of time for it but at-least i will not be in the mercy of paypal

 

I guess those payment sent under service doesn't have Subject notes! Correct me If I am wrong!

 

Nope! It not end of PayPal in India but it surly big lost for them. Don't worry within 1-2 days things will be settle down! People abuse their system so now we are paying price of it!

 

I had raised several doubts to them via twitter regarding the VBV issues afflicting Indian debit cards
and got no response .... They seem to just ignore us

 

Again 2 reversal from my account and reason [we have stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India]
