You have the word think in your sentence, and that is what makes me keep renewing these domain names...What if you could walk through the streets of Las Vegas in 3D and shop, walk into a casino for a website. Would then the name make sense??........the fees are really adding up but I hate to give them up just in case. I do have a lot of domain names with 3d in front or back of them. I have started to develop them as the domain investing interest is slow. I developed www.3dcomputersoftware.com Let me know what you think... I know this one makes sense.

TVs are now being developed where we will not have to wear glasses. Too bad... I purchased some 3d glasses domain names that I was going to develop. Now I just purchased 3dtvnoglasses.com noglasses3dtv.com one of the two can not remember.

There's actually one company that made a 3D TV that doesn't require glasses. I'm sure it's not a far off guess that the glasses-required TVs will be phased out and replaced with those.

I don't see the point in registering a 3d + city domain...is anyone ever going to search for that?

I still say that people are going to be searching for Best Buy, Target, etc when they look for electronics...or even comparison sites like Shopping.com, ePinions.com, etc. I doubt many people will be typing in "3d tv screens" when they look for these things.

For comparison purposes, research the HDTV market and look to see how many generic keyword domains are showing up for these things. I did some searches, and all I see are 1) big retailer websites (like Best Buy) and 2) review sites (like Cnet, PCmag, Engadget, etc)

I have a couple of good 3d related domain names and would like to have more visibility for sale.
If some of you could promote my good web domains: contact me by private message.

    Thanx!

3dcollegesports.com is a good one... Not sure why I did not think of that but if I did I would have purchased it. I have www.3dfantasysports.com Without the 3d the name gets over 100,000 searches according to Google Keyword Search. Is THIS A GOOD ONE?? Would someone ever want to buy this name?

IMHO the 3D domain craze is just a fad. I bet only a few good 3D domains will be a hit.

this seems borderline impossible to me at this point.
If you read the tech news - and i don't care where you go, abc news, msnbc, cnn... GENERIC tech news at best, and almost every day (every other ?), there's a new article about the latest 3d gadget.

I understand a lot of people got burned a few years back by 3d, but i've said it a few times already this thread... this is not the 80's 3d we're talking about.

It seems the big breakthrough is going to come when 3d is possible without the glasses. That seems like the only real hurdle here, and as we've also documented in this thread - they're already being developed and have even completed the prototypes.... it's IN-EV-IT-ABLE!!!!

As far as the 3dtv.com business .. i do, somewhat, agree that we will all just hit best buy, or walmart..etc.. for the best prciing... but to suggest that we shouldn't even bother with those keyword domains despite multiple millions of "searches" in google (keep in mind - tTHOSE people aren't typing 'bestbuy.com' or 'walmart.com') is just crazy!

Now, i agree with you on the HIGH, HIGH end of it all (3dhd), but the peripherals that are about to exist from all of this - and only becoming BIGGER - are ENORMOUS!!!

Think about it .. you were JUST talking about 3d glasses... maybe a '3d Viewer Kit' .. a few pages back, we were talking about '3dtouchscreens' and '3d Touch Panels'... then there was the excitement about 'ps3in3d' - the gaming industry... or what about the '3d cable programming'? .. how are we finding out the best installers or '3d cable providers'? - on the web
. where you'll be staring at a '3dflash site' that SOMEONE had to create.

    .. i mean .. again ...
    THIS - IS - UN - STOPPABLE...
(3d development, that it... not so much the 3d domain name industry)

    WHAT - A - WAY - TO - ADVERTISE!!!
    http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/03/cbs-brings-3d-advertising-to-grand-central-station-glasses-make/

(talk about creating a new experience...

    .... and just think
    ... i own 3dAdvertisingAgencies.com
    :)

    Enjoy everybody
