    hi all,

    I have some question regarding the affiliate HTML link (code).

    Could i modify the html link i get from Amazon, by eliminate the "text link"/ "image link".

    Example: i was remove the below code from the HTML link i get.

    <a href=" and Fearless</a>

    Is this ok? Will this still count as my "click" and bring profit, if my visitor click on it? Because i found below link still carry my associate ID and it's bringing me to the desired webpage.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EYGOEM?ie=UTF8&tag=worllargspons-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001EYGOEM"><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=worllargspons-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B001EYGOEM" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />
    :)

    If you use just the URL that they give with your affiliate link you'll get the commission, but won't have the tracking. I will login to my affiliate account first, then go to amazon.com and search for an item. And above the item is a "Link to This Page" icon. Then I'll click on "Text Link" option, and copy the URL before the "Name Your Link" in the HTML code that they supply. It should be the same thing if your affiliate ID is in the URL.
