With the poor revenues of August hopefully behind us, im curious to see if people are noticing any noticable increase today or if its just more of the same.
I can almost guarantee (expect) September's revenue will be similar to last few months. There will be some people who will have record earnings.. but most people will have lower revenues than the pathetic earnings we got during the Summer. People set their expectation too high.. just because.. they think Advertisers will pay during the holidays
I just checked my earnings after working all day, and at 4 PM est, I have made a total of: $1.49 with 5 sites running ypn I believe them $20 - $60+ days with ypn are gone....... What is amazing, I just checked and the few sites I still run AdSense on, AdSense earnings so far today are 3 clicks and I earned $1.69 (so AdSense is ahead of ypn) sad......
Guys, if you're doing crappy in the summer then that should give you a tiny hint of what most "clickers" surfing habits revolve around. I'll make it a little easier: see that big, yellow ball in the sky? When it's out and the weather is nice, then many people are less apt to drone away in front of a computer all day. Unless they are geeks like us. And if they are geeks like us, then they are less likely to click on Adsense ads. Sorry to be sardonic, but it's kind of a no-brainer.
What I'm trying to say is that the low months are only July and August. September has always been good for me in Adsense, so everything should be back to normal already. September should be a better month then August for sure.
What I'm trying to say is that September is still a warm month, especially in the southern states so most people shouldn't be expecting any miracles in September if they had a crappy August. But hey, there are always too many variables to thoroughly examine so who knows? Good luck to all.
Actually he can. If he is getting the same traffic like always and he is having higher earnings then its obvious that he has a higher RPC.
Now it's almost 7:30 est here, and I have made almost $4.00 so far today, definately not any better today than yesterday, or the last 2 weeks of August. But then again, schools don't even start back here until Sep 5, but since most of my traffic is from yahoo, msn and google....... I don't see how that matters, because the traffic comes from accross the country, etc.... and school is already started in most places. The big thing is I now found out that there was a major Google burp on the day my ypn started plummeting (Aug 17) - My traffic dropped massively, thus uniques and ctr etc all dropped, and earnings......... Maybe it's not a summer curse at all, but google...... the sandbox effect again, or whatever folks call it.........
