Lots of unique content that links to a lot of sites in your target market (link a few on the front page of results, but not too many of the top-top ones if you're trying to overtake their rank). Make sure your content is directed towards a market that not many others cater to, always try to provide a different angle. If you are doing product reviews and most reviews are unbiasedly positive, be snarky and controversial by stating how you hate the product. That will bring a lot of attention to your content as many readers with your opinion have not had much of a venue to vent their anger at the product before your site came along. Definitely target keywords that have low bids on them to start, no need getting stuck in the limbo of the keyword sandbox because your site is new and doesn't carry a lot of weight/seniority/expertise. Catchy keyword domain names help a lot too. Content is king, SEO is the bishop
If there was a proven 100% working quick way that everyone knew about, don't you think everyone would be using it by now? The fastest way would be building quality related to your niche backlinks that doFollow. And that will take couple of months to see the result.
You can't do it in a day or a week...... but you can quickly get what you want if you have * quality and unique content * regular updates * lots and lots of backlinks Definitely you can get your website ranked well soon.

How about choosing a weird long-tailed keyword for your site and see it ranks#1 with no efforts at all? Can't say the site will be able to generate an acceptable level of traffics though.
website ranking, right...????? not PR well you can use some service like buying traffic,.. it can increase your ranking on alexa,... happy now..
All joking aside this guy has a valid question. First I would build a site with unique content that is keyword specific and geared towards less competitive words in your niche. It will be easy to rank for these words. Once you start getting leads and conversions from these less competitive keywords you can move on to the bigger traffic keywords within your niche. I hope this helps Mike Mike
Focus on quality content first, links from sites in a similar niche to your own and adding content daily. This will all make your site Google friendly and boost your ranking.
quality do follow backlinks pr2 or higher. i'm sticking with blog and forum commenting manually hopefully have a good serp rank soon.
I have a fairly static retail site where I have little new or unique content that I can add to my site. I may try to attach content from my blog at some point to give the appearance of fresh content. Other than that I'm unclear on how to keep updating my sites. Its non informational in nature so its tough. I have opted to go the blog commenting and forum posts route. Its been several months but I feel like I may be getting close to some SERP improvement. Its alot of work to backlink but do it on your own. If you pay a company to do it you will never know how and where they are getting links and if they are engaging in anything black hat. If you play by the rules and follow what Google is trying to tell us I'd like to believe that we are doing it correctly.
