Is it really worth it?

Half the time the directories are not approving sites as I have forund that some directories have not approved sites for months and they have a backlog of tens of thousands of sites waiting for approval.

Is it really worth waisting your time submitting your sites to directories

Has anyone had any sucsess by just submitting to directories alone?

 

yes,it does worth. but to quality ones ,not just any directory

 

I think submitting to directories is worth it to cause your website can get listed several times in the search engine

You can get more traffic and rank higher in google if you consider this to be boring you can pay someone to submit to directories for a little of nothing

I paid someone and I immediately saw a boost in traffic I really liked it and when you need traffic you have to do what it takes to get it

Some says directories are now ineffective when it comes to SEO, but I disagree with it! As long as you know how to do it properly, it will still increase your site ranking and pr.

 

its depend on page rank.need improvment for links.

 

I don't know that you will see a drastic improvement, maybe a slight bump. They can be time consuming. Some just don't work, some charge to be listed. Some are relatively fast to add your listing, while others can take weeks even months if at all to list your site. I wouldn't spend a lot of time with them unless you have nothing better to do. If you do have some spare time then go for it. Otherwise like someone said you can pay someone to do it for you rather cheap and save yourself a ton of time. I do a bunch in a week sometimes. Then I move along to other places. I just like a variety of different types, and it gets boring doing the same thing all day. So I mix it up a bit.

 

By submitting to directories. you can get more backlinks that are good for SERP.

I think I will try submitting my site to some quality directories to see if I get and improvement in my traffic

 

Yup submitting to quality directories is good. But i tell you what blog commenting is way better for getting high traffic.

 

Dorectory submition i sgood, but lot of time i read that google does not supporting directory submition any more but i dont belive

Yes, It is really worth. You need to do maximum directory submission then you will get maximum approvals. You can also submit your link in new directories.

 

I have noticed that not all of my submissions ever get approved, but I feel like the ones that do help my ranking. So I think it's worth it.
