What is google goal and funnel analytics? How can i make these setting in google analytics? .....Thanks in advance
A goal is the end stage of your conversion process - typically a 'thank you' or a 'confirmed' page. The funnel is the steps your visitors take to get to that. The simplest way to use these features is simply to add a goal and put the urls of the pages that people have to go through from your home page top the last page in the process. Then you can see if there are 'stop' points - where you are losing visitors on the path to the conversion goal, and make improvements.
Google Analytics, I began to use 3 weeks ago. I liked the service. I've posted the best online store security systems and communications All recommend!!
In very much Simple terms : Goal means : For eg: a completed Goal in Football is a Goal and the process of taking that Football to the net is called as a Funnel...hope I ve tried to explain in simple term of Football...let me know if you want to know in more detail
Goal tracking gives you the ability to set up to 4 unique goals that you would like to keep a record of for important events (actions) that users take when they visit your site. When you combine Goal tracking with Funnels, it opens a world of knowledge about the efficiency of your website’s ability to take visitors down a path that leads to a sale.
So far analytics is a bit confusing to me. Im learning more now and will soon take the certification exam. For now its baby steps. but i do realize it's benefits is track-ability. When you can track everything, you can get the best return on your investment.
