lmao problems is an under statement. I have been proven yet again, best to do it yourself. Paid for management, figured since I have the management service might as well have them migrate my servers. It has been over 6 days now and not 1 single server migrated properly. I went much further than 'just migrate my server' I was detailed, including asking them several times in my opening ticket to setup my name servers, their response just a few days ago for why the servers were not setup correctly yet included 'i never asked for name servers to be setup' It has been delay after delay. Now last night, after explaining over and over and over again my sites are mysql driven, and that one server still was loading a few sites from the old server, what does the tech do? Instead of asking or taking care of the sites still loading off of one server he OVER WRITES all my sites with data from the old server, crippling all my sites. I wait and wait and wait, no responses, even though he said he could restore the data. So given no choice I open a new ticket to ask if they could ssh my backups over so I could restore my sites myself. This morning they almost scold me that I am creating 'duplicate' tickets, even though my new ticket was to take care of their tech's error who was not getting back to me, AND was to do so for the reason of me fixing the tech's error on my own. They consider asking what is going on 'bumping' lmao even though the last 'bump' I made was like 5 hours before they even responded. Extremely disappointed in this management company to say the least
Ok I am pretty sure this server management company is simply incompetent. 7 days ago they migrated data over to new server but never finished the move, only data was moved, nothing forwarded, no name servers setup, nothing. Finally after contacting the 'management' the migration for the server was done, or so I had thought. I was up today to find out all the had done is finally have traffic come to the new server, to the 7 day old data! I had held these guy's hands as much as possible, going above and beyond what a normal customer should have to do in order to guide the migration process. Yet still they fuxx it up yet again.
who are these people? maybe i should move this to the webhosting section, you might get better feedback. having fun yet?
lol fun can not even describe it. I lost another full day of business because of their 'work' sites erroring, data loss, etc, etc platinumservermanagement is who the provider is so not impressed atm
I should have done it myself, only got management for issues I can not do for 'insurance' figured since they provided migration in the price why not let them do it. hosting issues have damn near cost me my business, this was my last attempt at resurrecting it. My last server provider I was with was sold off, they moved me to servers w/o my permission that were very out dated. Costing me days and days worth of business. so i move to a new provider, try a new management company out and all I've gotten is stress and huge loss of business.
That sucks to hear, GRIM. I hope you get those issues sorted. Are you going to let us know who it is, or would you prefer keep it private?
