Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

I looked at their policy update page. It says policy last updated in October 2009

They haven't even updated their policy document on the site yet.

 

Why can't they clearly say they have stopped 'service/other' payments as well. Why only harp about personal payments, whey they are also reversing "service" payments. Still an hour and 8 minutes to go before we can call them about it.

 

I also transfered 10,000 INR from paypal to my bank account ..on 1st feb...still did not got money.
I usually get money within 2-3 days in my bank account ...

 

it would be a hell for sellers in india cause once the services payments are out of the question, everyone will have to go via goods and once u provide the services, the buyer can claim saying they have not received good, and because the whole thing is intangible digital goods/services, you as a seller are royally F***ked.

 

I am wondering why such drastic changes overnight and that too only for Indian accounts. Is it being done at the instance of RBI who might be wanting to have clear cut transaction records?
Is this also the reason why our withdrawals are held up? It appears there is more to it than what we apprehend!

That means now we can sure that everything is reversing from Feb and it will be good if we contact buyers to resend payments as from latest PayPal changes!

 

i think one should move to moneybookers its better then paypal, why this happen to all indian users i created my mb account, going to say by by to paypal .

 

If there there is a issue with personal accounts, they can stop bank withdrwals from personal accounts. why premier or business accounts?

Sending money as gift, could be issue of money laundering and illegal activities, which i believe paypal is very strict. So they are reviewing each and every transaction to curb this.

 

Well i got three payment in this month ,, and i have transferred the money form 1st paypal account to my 2nd paypal account ..so Will i face any problem in next days ?

 

yes i am sure that paypal is freezing the money of the month of Feb 2010. I lost 3 payment yet. One for 1 Feb and 2 for 2 Feb. I don't want 3 for 3 Feb.

its horrible...i am going to be mad on my gmail with watching reversal mails.

 

Update​

I just talked with my friend who works for PP's back office here @ Chennai. The delay is because RBI had requested documents from PP a month back and now that PP failed to produce it, RBI just sent back the NEFT money to PP. Only after this PP woke up and sent the documents. Now, all our funds have already been sent again to PP's clearing house. I hope that we get the money in 2-3 days (excluding the weekend days)

 

because service requires no proof!
