    Hi,

I own http://www.superswole.com and as you can see there is adsense ads on the sidebar and on each individual blog post page. I'm getting a good amount of impressions but hardly any clicks so can you guys give me some tips please.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Put the ads between the text content in the website... Atleast that way it will be visible to reader while reading the content. You have put your ads in the corner and reader might no go there to read only those ads.

I would try putting link units in your sidebar to give the "nav bar look", and I'm sure you get more clicks. Make sure the link units match the blog color scheme. :D

Good way to get yourself banned. Also suggest putting your menu link in your sig rather than your post...just sayin'

Above the fold placements are always good.

I looked at your site and I wouldn't expect you to get many clicks at all.

You are placing your Ads "around" your content as if they are an after thought.

    1. Dump the 468 all together... wasted space, will only hurt your payouts as those are the first ads and highest performing ads will be in there and no one clicks so the ads lower down even if they do click will pay less. Got to go!

    2. Get your ads out of the side bar. If you are going to put them there then put them at the top. Again wasted space.

    3. Get the ads off the bottom and put them in the content and use square blocks. Use a plug in to do this.

If you want to make money you have to focus on the ads as part of your content.

If you want to learn "Why" then you can read this: http://hubpages.com/hub/Adsense-Discover-EXACTLY-How-To-MAXIMIZE-Your-Earnings

Don't pay attention to the same old blend, play around with placement, whatever same stuff that gets hyped over and over.

If you want to make money with Adsense you have to treat it like it matters. Put it right in your content so people will not only see it but want to click on it!
