Hey there, February 14th is the commercial "love-celebration" day as we know it. I wonder how singletons feel about it. I am convinced many folks choose to be single and I wonder if they do anything on Single Awareness Day;a concept faded by the force of Valentine's red hearts Any thoughts?
As long as you are happy being single, then it's perfectly ok, you can do more things than a married person who must take care of his/her family.
we don't celebrate Valentine's. as for Single Awareness Day,to tell you the truth never heard of that, but it sounds pathetic.
hahahaha the acronym of Singles Awareness Day is SAD, a little harsh but makes it more humorous. If you're happy being single, be happy being single. Do not complain or whine you don't have a significant other; if you want one, go get one...Just know that people want their partners to be good looking/smart/financially stable(very touchy)/funny/a representative of their gender (manly men, feminine women)/a good person within themselves. This Valentine's Day for me is going to be awkward because this past year was really difficult on my wallet, but my new girlfriend totally understands and is supportive and wants to do something at her house that's nice cozy and romantic...Which is all the reason why I want to take her out somewhere ridiculously expensive because she's that amazing of a person. Valentine's Day is hellspawn of Hallmark, just like not getting a woman diamonds makes you feel like less of a man because DeBeers infused that thinking into the masses. Yay the beautiful, dumb masses....
