Can Twittad make me money? If so, how much?

I was searching around for Twitter bulk unfollow applications when I came across Twittad, a site that offers to pay money for letting advertisers take over your Twitter background. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this site and is willing to share. Thanks.

set your min. amount which you want from advertisers to tweet and then wait for opportunities

 

I looked at the website it looks interesting but I doubt you can make any real money with this. What is the average amount people pay per tweet. I doubt you can put like $.25 a tweet who would pay that for something so simple.

Well i already tried several programs to earn money with twitter ... only got $60 for 17 days trying (I hv 4000 followers).

So how does this work? Advertisers advertise their products by tweeting to your followers and you are paid for it?
