I was trying to sign up for a new adsense account as I had long lost my old account
I was launching a tips blog and I applied for the adsense, honestly I haven't advertised yet, so there are literally 0 visits at least as far as I know

today I got adsense automated reply as denied application and the only valid reason listed was the site has to be active for 6 months, I never encountered such a problem earlier when I registered accounts for my friend from a differentt ip around 4 - 6 months ago, but now this :(

Is it only me or all the bloggers (blogspot) having the new registration issue

If you need an Adsense account, I would sign up through Hubpages and apply for an account through them.

It's a lot easier and you don't need you own site.

I head about the need to wait 6 months after you register your Domain before you can get an adsense account, but I got approved about two days after I registed mine, so I'm not sure that rule always follows.

Its better to build some sort of content and traffic before applying to Google.

6 months seems to be normal but I'm sure some people get an account even if their site is not 6 months old.

Well, if you have better content along with traffic which makes a good site or blog then they will approve you even if you are just 1 month old.

It was a very old account and I was in another city, I don't use even the email, so I don't think ban would appear to me :p

Lol, a Mac Address is based on your computer hardware, it has nothing to do with it being a Mac or PC. Anyway, are you sure there is absolutely no other thing could be the same between the new and old account?

Dude there is a work around to this that I've mentioned several times on this forum, and shown step by step in the free preview i gave out. Go to doctoc.com > Signup for an account > say you don't have adsense > upload files on docstoc > Get adsense account!!!

I knew that :p I just wanted to mention that, I don't know why :p

now, here is the copy of the rejection mail I have recd.

now, since I provide tips on a forum software I don't think there is a much prob with originality, the only problem could be traffic, I have not even submitted to any search engine,to gain a little traffic

What is the link to your site (if I'm allowed to ask that on these forums) maybe seeing it can give us some new insite that we are missing.
