My bank refused the adsense check

Last month I got adsense check and deposit it Commorcial bank sri lanka. Every month I deposit check my adsense check, and I received money from adsense.

This time they said me, to "there are two names in this check. That's why we can't to send it. You'd better create joint account with other person to deposit check.

But there is no second person who belongs to my check. They think my home name as a person. However, before times they didn't ask anything and sent to check to citi bank Europe and adsense paid for check.

I told them to, Thre is no second person who belongs to my check and you ( My Bank) already change this check several times.

Have you tried to deposit again? How about talking with someone who was in charge?

If they don't let you then try other banks. Close the account with the current one.

 

had you reffer any higer officals in the same bank may be they can help you in that

I talk with manager who working main branch of this sri lankan bank. he also haven't any Idea to about this and he told me to my area manager decision is the last and final

I lost my documents and they refused to give it to me.

 

Goto a different back "store" or ask for the boss to talk to you and sort things out with them

Google issues you a cheque which has your complete name on it. Isn't your bank account registered with the same full name? This is a unique problem that I have never heard of...

 

do you have any Id proof for another name , if yes show that proof to bankers.

 

Yes friend. They already send to checks from Google and suddenly refused.

 

I can proof to my identity using my sri lankan Identity card. But my home is not a person

They are crazy

 

So sorry to hear that. It's quite easy to get Google to reissue a check. However, it's hard to convince those stubborn folks in the bank. Do you have a Citibank branch in your country? It might be better to open a bank account with Citi

 

No friend there is no citi bank branch in my country.

try switching to a better well known bank. Sounds like that one is crooked more then most lol.

what kind of stupid banking system is that?

here in India, if a check is not cleared, it is sent back to the depositor via registered post or courier.

 

hey bro im also from SL and im using BOC they cash the cheque within one day
and the charge for that is only 300 LKR.
so far i have no trouble with them except lazy govt. workers
you should ask commercial bank for the cheque and diposit in BOC i think...

so how much time did commercial bank took to cash the cheque?? (in previous cheques)??

 

Finally I got back my check and plan to deposit is sampath bank sri lanka.

Com bank spend 3-4 weeks to clear the check. They really sucks

 

by curiosity , what was the ammount they're scared for?
