Email Marketing

Before you write the body of the email, make sure your subject line is catchy and will gain your targets attention. Many people will only open email, particularly from an unfamiliar source, if they find the subject line compelling and interesting. This element is so important.
Make your email concise and to the point, unlike direct mail that can go on for pages. Remember that you have less than ten seconds to grab the attention of your readers. Make the most of that time. Take time to think about what you are going to write before you write your message.

Interesting site you have. Where do you blast the emails to? The USA or everywhere?

PM me. I am interested in talking to you about this.

Email Marketing is good if the receiver's attention has been caught,
plus the idea that you have to put a subscribe and unsubscribe
buttons so that you will not be listed as a spammer.. but obviously
if there are unfamiliar email address it will automatically went to
either the trash box or the spam box..

If you're doing email marketing the legit way, then you'll have to abide by the CAN SPAM Act of 2003.

By doing that, you have to get the users to opt-in to your email blasts. Secondly, you need to have an unsubscribe button in the footer of every email sent via your company. If a customer signs up for topic "a", then you can only send them info related to that.

If you're trying to build a brand, using spam lists might not be your best choice.

If you're doing it the non-legit way (aka spam), then it's your prerogative.

Email marketing is old and still effective strategy to get visitors but all depends on the quality of emails and the way of sending it and sometimes on mood of email reader :)

If you mean 49 clicked through, then that's a 14% CTR, not bad.

yeah not bad actually Darkantirex. 49/350 is an ok open rate...

Try getting more subscribers. Email marketing is still very effective but of course you
can't just rely on one source of getting traffic.

I have done email marketing for years for myself. I have started doing marketing for a few friends that live another part of the country that do the same type of business I do.

I spend time gathering the email addresses so that I target the emails to a particular market area. For instance, I do an event/entertainment business, so I get email addresses for schools, PTA's, colleges, company event planners, human resources, churches. These are groups that do events.

You have to target the emails. If you sell insurance to businesses, then I suggest getting business owner emails through a chamber of commerce website, business networking group websites, etc. I have thought through ways to get email addresses for whatever the particular target I'm selling to.

PM me if you would like my advice and/or help. I want to continue to build a marketing business like this.

Email marketing is all about building a strong relationship with your readers. Give them valuable information on a regular basis and also only suggest really good products to them. Don't try and sell them junk because you will lose their trust and you won't make any money.

The money is in the list!

    Cheers

    Guys,

I do need email marketing ... I am now promoting my WEB sites, my company sells physical products, not services, and do need to reach new cusomer base, I figure email marketing is the way to go.
I previously misunderstood these email blasting companies are all Spammers, now I know they are not, they simply just blast all these emails to their safelist, which could be big, somehow like listjoe.com does. However, listjoe is not as good as I thought, it only allow plain text emails to be sent, not HTML. As my company sells physical products, I do need to show pictures of my products in my marketing emails to attract buyers.

Is there any email blasting company out there really allow you to blast HTML email messsages successfully ?
And also will protect you from spamming by inserting a footer or header on your message by stating "You're receiving this email because you agree to (blasing company name).

    Any advices ?
