Hello friends, I am trying to attracts submitter from last months for my article directory. but all efforts have gone in dust. This article directory approve articles hand to hand. approved article's links post to twitter immediately. There are lot of twits visits and search engine index soon(depend on article quality). Your article send to ping sites by tool immediately. I made multipurpose marketing system so every article owner get lot of traffics. But This s.granitesandstone.com article directory is new and i am looking for tips so i can kick for run fast. Is this possible?
Article directories is a hard business to compete in.. Try contacting some online marketers or people who do a lot of article submissions (you can find them on DP) and give them info about your directory.
You need a USP that sets you apart from the other article directories. What shortcomings do they have to marketers, that you can offer.... Here's a few of my own ideas: allow pictures allow embedded videos allow links in the videos allow links in the body, not just the resource box allow affiliate links Give fast approval times if your directory has an approval process don't limit the number of words that can be used as anchor text
As for the affiliate links I allow people to post them in the resource box at Articlefalls.com and I don't really care about the word length just so long it's worth reading. I've not really considered your other techniques, but they may be worth looking into.
Try to add your directories in online article directories list. Also announce your directory on all webmasters forums available.
You can use services like Article Marketer to full up your site. Once you have a lot of articles, people will start submitting too.
the more feaures you allow, the more troubles you will get. none of "real person" want to visit article submit sites which is a waste land of useless information.
Work on improving traffic for directory - both organic and direct. Once your directory is capable of sending traffic to article submitters, you will be able to get lots of submissions. As mentioned by others, article directory field is a bit saturated.
FYI article marketer isn't around any more and had a terrible submitter service. they wanted to charge directory owners to GET articles!!!! probably their downfall. anyway, what you're doing to promote is giving everyone else links, are you getting of your own to your site?????? When did they start charging directory owners? They sent me articles for free.... Article Marketer just changed its form...http://www.distributeyourarticles.com/ and http://www.contentcrooner.com are derived from Article Marketer. I didn't get your second question. (The site in my signature isn't mine).
The option was added within a few months of them closing down and "selling" their operation to the other providers. You 'could' get the free articles but they were not reviewed for any accuracy or content quality. Terry
