I am wanting to learn to drive my own traffic. Willing to start in the trenches. I am interested in learning to post ads in yahoo groups and other groups ie face book, msn etc., and use posting service once groups are set up. Is this an effective method? or would other techniques be better to start with. I am looking for techniques that i can teach to people i may hire. simple and effective. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Shane probusinesscredit.com businessfinancetutor.com
agree, it depends on what niche you are working in...but for me using seo is still the cheapest yet most effective tool to drive traffic into a website.
Groups are much like Forums. The people who just join up to post a link will fail. People who join and participate can get users interested. The problem is the volume of users within a group is typically so small it's not worth the effort. If you start your own group then you can send emails to people who sign up. I find that Yahoo Groups are way too much effort for any real marketing benefit. I participate in a few just to learn about specific hobbies I'm interested in... but even then I hardly ever log on unless an interesting email comes along.
I was thinking of the same thing well then , what about the facebook group is it as much as the yahoo group ?
I am going to post ads in yahoo groups, facebook groups, and google groups. It i my hope that i can develop a repetitive system of ad posting that I can teach other employees and mass produce the program, keep it all in house for the most part. Paying others to drive traffic and not knowing what your getting has become frustrating for me. I am willing to start in the trenches for a while, hope it will be worth it in the long run. I am also looking into article marketing. I found these two sites that seems to be interesting for the money: overflowcafe.com easytraffic.biz Let me know what you guys think of trying these services out in addition to driving my own traffic.
