single dictionary short word .us and .info domains value?? friend of mine is offering me a short dictionary words .us & .info domains.. how much should i pay for it... the words are not so pronounceable but still easy to remember
It would be impossible to appraise without knowing the name. For instance, consequentially.us would be worth a lot less than machinery.us
I would say the registration fee. There's so many dictionary words ending with ly available. I've listed more than 3,000 ones that were available on DP couple of weeks ago.
I've never heard of doing this before. You would be competing with the big dictionary sites. If you could get a common word that gets looked up often for spelling and meaning, how about: spelling-keyword.us definition-keyword.us Or whatever extension you wish. Seems to me that could have been thought of long before I just did. In your specific case, you really need to do some research if single words are worth doing. Exactly what kind of traffic and from what type of search are you looking at? The best single words would be covered by much bigger and older sites. Stephen C
Let's say if it's a word like "informal" then it would have a good value. These domains listed below as example are just registration fee unless you got developed website on it.

Go for .us extension if they are catchy and also keep in mind the keywords. .Info extension is good, but the good ones are already registered. Also they don't have enough resale value, unless you keep it for your own use. Best of LuCk.
