If anyone is familiar with the Rich Jerk, Holly Mann offers the same info but for people with less internet experience.

You know what they say. Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.

I have read rich jerk's book, I don't think it is good, it doesn't really go in depth. However, it is a great book for beginners since it will open your mind to ways of making money on the Internet.

I have never heard of Holly Mann.

Not familiar with Holly Mann, but the Rich Jerk is kind of annoying and not that great. But if you are new to Adsense, and need a Beginner's Guide, I would suggest Joel Comm's e-books. There is nothing in them that you can't find here on the forum with a lot of reading, but if you need something in one condensed book, it is a good beginner's guide.

Yup, he's probably making thousands a day with his affiliates doing all the work. And most likely he also has some other high earning websites.

I would never recommend buying overpriced ebooks for information you can find free in forums and blogs.

Maybe the OP has a life and can't spend it trolling forums all day long reading 100s of disparate threads scattered across 100s of pages to get what he can get from one ebook for the price of a meal? Just a thought...

I agree, although you can probably learn more from your own experience and from participating in webmaster forums, a lot of people just don't have time for that (or don't even know how a forums works). And personally I don't think that any piece of software or ebook priced under $50 is expensive. I mean, I bought the rich jerk and it made me want to make money and I am only sixteen, I have already started developing sites so I think in ten years I will have made much more than those $50 bucks. Also, since I'm a teen I have no expenses so I can afford to invest all my money  .

Maybe he's in the wrong business then. If this is what you do and you don't have time for this, then you'll remain well behind the curve.

    Exactly.
Besides, if the person is unable to figure out how to read a forum, they may have skipped too far ahead already.

I'm curious about the Holly Mann Book. I thought The Rich Jerk was a pretty good book for what it was meant for... much better than most of the 300 page books I've read and much more condensed.

Yeah, Rich Jerk really opened my eyes to Internet Marketing in the first place.

    I'd recommend his eBook.

I recommend it too, but ONLY to beginners since it doesn't go very deep in its explanations.
