I am planning on establishing this kind of structure. a) Inbound Links - more than 10 ... b) Outbound Link - only 1 c) On-Site Links - more than 10 ... #1. Should i increase my outbound link? #2. What do you think is its effect on PageRank? #3. Will this type of site get penalized by search engines? #4. What do you think is the advantage and disadvantage of this type of link structure?
I think you use a variety of out-bound and in-bound links. It makes it look more natural then just have a preset number.
Get inbound link as much as possible and keep the outgoing links as minimum as possible. You can also make internal linking wisely.
For better search engine ranking, you have to increase your inbound links, especially from the same niche sites and for avoiding the Google penalized, you have to decrease your outbond links...
I think its pretty simple. More quality inbound links are good. Less outbound links are good. Good Luck.
go for only quality relevant inbound links: first you target more inbound links for home page and then you can go for inner pages. i am sure your page rank will be increase. and have less outbound links.
I'd increase number of outbound links if I can find more quality/authority sites to link to. I hope this doesn't surprise anybody
Try to get inbound links in different formats like from blog posts, comments on the blogs, adding to social network sites, submission to directories etc
I would not stick with such strategy. Try to create your website naturally, with meaningful inbound and outbound links. More inbound links is better. Don't limit yourself for outbound links. If you need link pointing outside, place it. You can control them with rel='nofollow'. Don't force your visitors to copy-paste links, instead of clicking on them. It will create bad user experience.
I wouldn't worry at that level of detail about your link structure, just follow what you think is best for your site.
For inbound links, quantity doesn't matter at all...you may have a single link or gazillion links as far as they are relevant to a page content. Outbound links - lesser is better for obvious reason of saving pagerank (if not avoidable then use nofollow tag wherever possible) On-site link (internal linking) - Doesn't matter as far as its user friendly...need not to tweak it unless you have millions of pages on your site with same navigation. Hope it helps
usually, the oubound llinks must be fewer than the inbound links...but do not forbid them in any way, your site must look/feel natural to search engines and users alike
