Best ways to market a youtube video?

I do SEO and Internet marketing Freelance and I am just wanting to know what methods you guys use for marketing YouTube videos. I have marketed them before but I have never really pushed them 100%.

 

Try and build backlinks towards it, optimize it pretty well! Throw it up on every website you can.

 

Put your link as a comment on another related videos.
