Hello Members I have submitted my website to almost 500 directories with Reciprocal Link but only 40 to 50 links approved. what's the problem can anyone tell me?
It varies, just because you reciprocated it does not mean it's an agreement to include your site, this depends on the quality of your site and the webmaster may not have gone into looking at your site just yet. Be patient or contact them personally.
Not everyone is automated. It really depends. Keep in mind that some approve manually. Some are just dead so they will never be approved. Other's may just dump you are not respond if you did not follow directions. Other's may be really back logged (though I kinda find that hard to believe - if they are paid). Some of these directories may auto-approve you and just never notify you for whatever reason. Some are broken or just not maintained at all. Concentrate on QUALITY in the future. Not quantity. I would only even consider submitting to business.com, yahoo.com and a handful of others. Most of the other sites carry almost no weight.
